Booking & Scheduling

Getting on the calendar and what to expect on the day.

How far ahead should I book a handyman visit?

A few days ahead gives you the most choice of times, especially for weekends. That said, we keep some room in the schedule, and urgent jobs like a running toilet or a leak under the sink can often be handled the same day when the schedule allows.

Will you let me know when you're on the way?

Yes. We confirm your time ahead of the visit and keep you posted by text on the day. If you're at work or out of town, we'll also text updates and photos while the job is underway so you're never left wondering.

Do I need to be home while you work?

No. Plenty of our customers are landlords, Airbnb hosts, or simply at work. Just arrange how we get in — a lockbox, a code, or a neighbor — and we'll handle the rest and send photos of the finished work before we leave.

Can I add a job once you're already there?

Usually, yes. If we have the time and the parts, we're happy to take care of an extra item while we're on site. We'll talk through the added work and the price with you first, so nothing gets added without your okay.

Pricing & Quotes

How we price the work and keep it fair.

How do you price a handyman job?

It depends on the job, the parts, and how long it takes. Send us a description and a few photos, and we'll give you a price before any work starts. Customers often tell us the price was fair for everything we got done.

What if you find a bigger problem once you start?

We stop and tell you. If a shutoff valve crumbles or a door frame is rotted, we'll show you what we found, explain the options in plain words, and let you decide. Nothing extra happens without your say-so.

Does bundling several jobs save me anything?

It saves you time and hassle at the very least — one appointment instead of four, and one person who already knows your home. Send the full list when you book so we can plan the visit and price everything together.

Can I get a quote from photos alone?

Often, yes. Clear photos of the problem, plus a wide shot of the area, let us give you a good idea of the job over text. For bigger or trickier work, we may need to see it in person before giving you a firm price.

The Work Itself

What we take on, and what we pass along.

What jobs are too big for a handyman?

Room additions, electrical panel work, new circuits, re-roofing, and major remodels belong with a licensed contractor. We stick to repairs, installs, and the everyday fixes homes need. If your job falls outside that, we'll tell you plainly instead of taking it on.

Can you install something I bought online?

Yes. Faucets, light fixtures, ceiling fans, TV mounts, shelves, and flat-pack furniture are all fair game. Send us the product link or model number ahead of time so we can confirm it fits your space and bring the right tools.

Do you patch drywall and hang shelves?

We do. Small drywall holes from old anchors or a yanked-out towel bar get patched, and shelves, art, and mirrors go up level and anchored properly. These are great add-ons to any visit since they usually don't take long.

Do you work outside the house too?

Yes. Side gates, fence boards, gate latches, outdoor fans, patio furniture, and weather-resistant utility doors are all part of the work. Outside jobs in Orange County take a beating from sun and wind, so we build them to hold up.

Rentals, Airbnbs & Offices

For landlords, hosts, and business owners.

Can you handle a punch list between tenants?

Yes, and turnovers are a big part of what we do. Send the list for the unit — fixtures, doors, blinds, patching, faceplates — and we'll work through it in one visit when possible, texting photos so you can sign off without driving over.

Can you work around Airbnb guest check-outs?

We can. Tell us the check-out and check-in times and we'll schedule the visit in the gap. Hosts like that we leave things tidy, because the next guest should walk into a clean space, not a job site.

Will you coordinate with my tenants directly?

If you'd like us to, sure. Give us the tenant's contact info and we'll set the time with them, show up as scheduled, and keep you in the loop with updates. Many landlords prefer it that way so they don't have to play phone tag.

Can you do office repairs without disrupting my staff?

Yes. We can schedule early in the morning or during a slower part of the day, and we keep the work area tight and clean. Let us know about parking, building access, and any quiet hours when you book.
